The Battle of Narita

The Mountain stands tall, looming over the area.
The Black Knights stand upon the top of the mountain as the Britannians encircle the bottom.

The Black Knights question their leader, thinking that death is their only option at this point. He disagrees.

This is the time for miracles. The time for the Black Knights to prove that they can handle the impossible task that their leader has presented them with.
If they can win here then perhaps they can really do it. They can take down the empire that rules over the world, the empire that all fear, the empire that took what is precious to them all.

Cornelia leads the assault as Zero schemes, looming over her thoughts like an unshakable nightmare.

This is the time for a great success or a horrid failure. The only one who knows which side will experience which is the Gods.

Seth sighs at the slowness of the attack on the Narita Mountains. If Cornelia was really smart she would let them break through the encirclement and ambush them when they're escaping. he thought, frowning. "Oh well, at least I get to use my awesome Knightmare!" he says happily to himself, walking up to it. Ah, I remember how I got this, it was awesome! he thinks to himself before getting the manual again, re-reading it.

Jace overlooked his fellow units advancing on Narita with two others, the three of them in a brand new knightmare frame design. Although it was still considered a prototype, Jace had ran into no problems in the simulator, and soon the Britanians would have an entire army of these models. Armed with a long distance rifle with bullets large enough to pierce even the hull of a knighhtmare frame. Behind him were the two other soldiers who were deemed to have the greatest marksmanship of the Britanian Glagow pilots, one of whome he considered a friend. Standing beside two other trusted knights and charged with the protection of the fellow units had given Jace a new sense of purpose within the army. Jace was no longer "one of the crowd", just one of the people the nobles could use as cannon fodder. Jace smiled to himself as he remembered Prince Clovis' assasination and he couldn't help but feel a strange connection with the masked man who called himself 'Zero'. That man had caused the death of hundreds of good soldiers through his brash decisions and stupidity, but no more. The idiot had met his just deserts. Jace noticed his brother's knightmare and smiled even wider as he thought he could feel the heat of war approaching. With us three watching over the battle, Seth within the Alpha group and an actual renowned tactitian as our leader, I'd like to see even Lelouch perform a miracle this large.

Seth tries to patiently wait, but ultimately fails. He goes to where Jace is, looking at the sniper Knightmares. "Wow." he says to him, his jaw dropped. "Is that really the custom Knightmares, already?" he remarks, a bit surprised at how short a time it took for them to manufacture them.

"Oh hey Seth, they actually didn't modify these knightmares. Well, I guess they are TECHNICALLY custom knightmares. They really only dismounted the harkens and stablised the landspinners. This means we can stand perfectly still even on a sloped surface, but can only run half the speed of normal units. The only entirely new part of the knightmare is the sniper rifle which took a month to make after my letter." Jace replied smiling as he ran his fingers over the shiny new controls and felt a tingle run down his spine.
"By the way, I like your custom knightmare. I'm not surprised the army allowed you to pilot after displaying your talent with it at the ambush." Jace began but before he could really start a conversation one of his ally units reminded him that Jace was meant to be in unit Alpha.
"Oh, sorry Seth. We will have to talk later, we could get in a lot of trouble for breaking orders. Especially with Cornelia overlooking the battlefield. She might even have you court marshelled! I shutter to think..." Jace turned around and looked at his ally units, once again going serious "I think you had better hurry back to ur post unit..."

Seth grudgingly walks back to his post, ticking down the minutes as to when he'll be able to demonstrate his machine. Then, Lord Guilford's voice was transmitted on the loudspeaker. "We will be attacking the Japan Liberation Front's headquarters in the Narita Mountains at precisely 0900 hours. Please make sure your Knightmares are prepared for battle." the voice says before cutting out. Yes! Excellent, that means it's only in 30 minutes. Time to get ready. he thinks before going inside the foreign Knightmare known as the Barakiel Prototype.

"-are prepared for battle!" called out Guilford's voice.
"Yes, My Lord!" shouted out the three knightmares, and Jace felt a fire in his eyes as he readied the sniper barrel.
"Those elevens shall feel the wrath of the Britanian army.." said Jace to himself as he tuned his radio to his fellow snipers.
"Let's show these Eleven's the might of our steel" replied Jace into the radio in a commanding voice, on the verge of harsh, and yet both units understood this was his way of being inspiring. Not one Britanian unit would be lost today, Jace was sure of this much.

Zero, in his custom Burai, made the call for all troops to charge forward from the top of the mountain. This battle would be over quickly.

As the enemy advanced forward they would be crushed by the might of the Black Knights.

There was no competition at this point, it was just a matter of time until victory was in hand.

As the Black Knights poured off of the mountain Zero and Kallen kept to a separate path.
